Boyd Coffee Company introduces the Multi-Function Brewer, an innovative brewer flexible enough to brew hot coffee, iced coffee, flavored coffee, hot tea and iced tea into a variety of serving containers (ranging from a 54 fl. oz. thermal coffee server to a 1.5 gallon coffee container to a 3-gallon tea dispenser) all without flavor carry over.

The Multi-Function Brewer also has the ability to control all brewing-process aspects, including formulation, temperature, water contact time, dilution and volume through pre-programmed recipe selections based on taste preferences ranging from classic to traditional. And, if that wasn’t enough, the brewer features push-button simplicity, reducing labor and training time.

“We know that in all foodservice operations, counter space is at a premium,” said Brian Juckeland, Coffee Marketing Manager for Boyd Coffee Company. “The Multi-Function Brewer program is designed to focus on maximum brewing versatility while using minimal counter space and optimizing coffee flavor potential.”

In addition, the brewer features automatic temperature and altitude calibration, internal system alerts when the water filter needs changing, an anti-drip brew basket to reduce residual drips after brew-cycle completion, and customizable on-screen messaging to inform and educate operators about the coffee or tea being brewed. The Multi-Function Brewer’s internal programming separates itself from other coffee brewers by eliminating guesswork when brewing coffee into various brewing container types. Rather than just selecting a “half” or “full” setting on a typical brewer, the Multi-Function Brewer has six different brewing settings, can brew into eight different types of containers and up to 250 different optimized brewing profiles.

Peppermint Twist Hot Cocoa, a delicious new seasonal Coffee House Roasters® hot beverage flavor, is a perfect warm up for a chilly day: rich, decadent chocolate combined with wintry peppermint in a hot, frothy beverage. Peppermint Twist Hot Cocoa can be made automatically in an instant cappuccino machine, or it can be scooped and measured for individual drink service. Add whipped cream sprinkled with crushed candy canes to the finished drink for a customer-pleasing holiday treat! Peppermint Twist Hot Cocoa is also caffeine-free and trans-fat free.

In Boyd Coffee Company’s quest to provide the finest coffees in the world to our customers, all our coffees have been evaluated, and many of our coffee blends have been reformulated to match current consumer taste trends. We have also re-named a number of our coffees to be more descriptive and appealing to the end user. A number of SKUs have been eliminated, making our ordering process more efficient and effective. These coffees will begin shipping the first week of February.
